This guide provides information about library resources and services, as well as links to databases and tools beneficial for all students regardless of program/pathway.

This is a list of databases that can be used to find materials on a broad range of subjects. For subject-specific databases and resources, find your program/pathway research guide via the Library Services & Resources section of our website.

Diffen - unbiased comparison website edited by users

Digital Public Library of America - access to materials from libraries, museums, archives, etc. from across the country

EBSCOhost - research databases, e-journals, magazines, ebooks, etc.

Google Scholar - open source (free) articles and ebooks

JSTOR - academic journal storage

Magnolia Databases - Mississippi Alliance for Gaining New Opportunities through Library Information Access (magn0112)

Open Library - millions of free print-disabled ebooks prior to 1923

Overdrive - audiobook and ebook library

Points of View Reference Center - overview, history, modern examples, and related links for special issues (presenting both sides of each argument)

Salem Press - Literature, History, and Health Reference

SIRS Researcher - articles, resources, and analyses on current events and hot topics from different points of view

Each campus library has a variety of spaces that can be reserved for individual students or study groups. Simply click on one of the links below to reserve a room at that library. The availability and scheduling system will open in a pop-up window. You may reserve a room for up to three hours at a time. Please contact your campus library if you have any questions.
