McMorrough Library and Archives

The McMorrough Library and Archives is located in Goodman, MS. McMorrough is the district library and serves a more rural population; including students housed in dorms within the campus. The district library originated during the 1929-1930 school year. The present facility was completed in December 1975 and occupied in June 1976. It contains 24,000 square feet and includes a Makerspace, multi-purpose classroom, five study/meeting rooms, and a large basement archival and storage area. McMorrough Library also contains a Mississippi Room; featuring works about the state and featuring Mississippi authors. McMorrough provides technical services and cataloging for the Holmes Community College libraries.
